HOW THE WORKSHOP WILL UNFOLD

ELEMENT 1 - FINDING THE MISSING LINK
Learn how your body moves so that you can translate it into the ocean.

Mitch will lead us through the critical hierarchy of surfers and tests our bodies so we discover the missing link.

ELEMENT 2 - HARNESSING THE POWER
After building up a sweat, Emma will lead you through an experiential breathwork session, so that you can dive deep into the power of the breath training for recovery, safety, and renewed energy.

Co2 Tolerance training
Box Breathing

Emma will teach the science, impact, and latest research of breathwork, and how it is game-changing to your mindset and health.

ELEMENT 3 - FACING YOUR FEARS
Next, we will test our minds and challenge our bodies by jumping into an ice bath. The benefits of cold water exposure include:

Inflammation
Muscle recovery
Stress response and training the vagus nerve
Ignite the warrior within

ELEMENT 4 - MASTERING THE ELEMENTS
To finish the workshop, we will gather for complimentary warming cacao and a nourishing snack, where we will open up a discussion from the workshop learnings, main pillars, and key takeaways. Mobility & Movement Expert, and WSL competitive surfer, Mitch has over 10 years in his field. He uses his depth of knowledge about the human body and makes connections others don’t. With a niche and passion for surf performance, Mitch’s understanding is holistic, impactful, and effective. You will often find him at his local Queenscliff, rolling on the mat at The Combat Room, or sipping chia at Berkelo.

Emma Shearman - SISUU

Emma Shearman is the founder of SISUU and an XPT Performance Breath & Cold Water Immersion Coach. She uses her expertise to teach people how to implement effective breathing techniques into their daily lives, helping them to feel calmer, more centered, and courageous. Being an avid surfer, spearfisher and freediver, she demonstrates how revolutionary breathwork it is for our health, mindset, and performance. She has coached the likes of big wave surfers, multinational brands including Patagonia, and runs multi-day retreats, exploring these pillars in depth.
