The Recommunity Project in collaboartion with CIRCARTUS presents a "Taste of Circus"
Circus is anything you can imagine, making the impossible possible and often centering around skills like acrobatics, aerial, juggling, poi, rollabolla, spinning plates, contortion, Acro balance, hula hoops, unicycling, clowning, tumbling and more.
Circus builds: Emotional health, Physical health, Cognitive function, social health, Problem solving and perseverance, Trust, Teamwork and social connectedness.
Circus is great for EVERYONE.
Circus is inclusive, supportive, creative, expressive, inspirational and fun! Circus is for all bodies, all ages, all genders, all abilities and all ways of being.
Circus is a way to fit in without blending in (Seymour & Wise 2017).
Circus promotes positive emotional, physical, cognitive and social health for everyone who participates.
Circus is for you, for me and for our community.
