    Event description

Learn to make some delicious Ethiopian food, then sit down and enjoy it with others!

Your host will be Wossen Agnew. Originally from Ethiopia, Wossen has lived many years in New Zealand with her kiwi family. Wossen will share her culture and cuisine with you.

Participants will learn to make Injeera - a famous Ethiopian sourdough bread made of Teff flour, which is gluten free.

You will also make 3 different Wot /Ethiopian stews, which get eaten on/with the injeera. One will be vegan, one with chicken and eggs and one with beef.

Suitable for those who are gluten free, dairy free and vegan. To help us purchase the right quantities of ingredients, let us know when booking your place, if you will be eating vegan/ vegetarian or happy to try everything.

Why not come along - get some new recipe ideas, learn about another country and enjoy a lovely meal together with others!

Limited to 10 people so get in quick.

This event is one in a series of 'A Taste of... ' cooking classes organised by Keep Learning Mid Canterbury and the Mid Canterbury Newcomers Network.
