This two day course is designed to give you a good basis for your sustainability journey by biting into the essence of permaculture and the design process.🌿🫛🍊

Looking at the big picture of the principles and ethics but also small practical solutions to work into your everyday life.

Covers the why : principles, ethics, patterns and holistic design of a sustainable lifestyle not only for your food production but into your everyday resilience to changes but also your personal health and community. ☮️🌈🍃🐓🐞🐝🌎

And lots of the how: how do I plan , sustain , manage and have an abundance of food and resources . 🪷🌻🍉🍎🫐🥑🌽🫑🌶️🥩🥜😄

Includes:

🌱principles, ethics, patterning ,

🌱holistic design,

🌎climate/ weather and landscapes,

🌻🐓design elements such as zones, sectors,energy flows and cultivating the ecology around these elements for the South Burnett microclimates

🧑🏻‍🌾👩🏼‍🌾Soils and composting techniques for our environment

Hopefully this course will give you inspiration and the motivation to live and work in the space of permaculture techniques and philosophy. All this with the overlay of South Burnett context with our experience of self sufficiency and permaculture in the South Burnett for the past 30 plus years.

This will include :

* our traditional seasonal 150km organic lunch ( all ingredients sourced from less than 150km radius of the South Burnett) , morning tea and afternoon tea on each day .

* extensive notes, point point presentations and further readings and on going support through mentorship .

* a course capped at 25 so it can be lots of individual attention for questions and networking with other participants.

Your learning team are

Wil and Megan Seiler who have run their own regenerative permaculture farm for 34 years and self sufficient lifestyle but also found time to study under Bill Mollison, Geoff Lawton, David Holmgren , Janet Millington , Morag Gamble in multiple course structures. Both have science backgrounds in environmental sciences, horticulture and more recently Diplomas of Sustainable Living .

Cost of the two days is $100. All our courses are $50 a day .

The two days will be held at Tableland Hall 12 km north of Murgon and at our farm 26 km north of Murgon.
