    A Very Permie Christmas Gathering

    Event description

After the success of last year's Christmas gathering we're doing it again!

Our PCC Gatherings finish in November so that all the lovely volunteers can have a well-deserved break, but we had great fun at a relaxed Christmas catch up last year, so we're doing it again!

Come and join other members and friends if you can on the SECOND Sunday of the month so that we're not too close to Christmas. We'll start from 3.00pm and go until we're ready to go home.

Wear your favourite Christmas T-shirt if you have one or go all out with your Christmas-themed attire.

Come for the whole event or just call in and say hi! Bring kids, bring friends but not dogs please (we are sure your dogs are lovely but some people are frightened by dogs)

BYO drinks and snacks, chairs and picnic rugs.

There's no guest presenter, raffle, seed bank or share table. Just a relaxing time under some beautiful trees, catching up with old friends and making new ones.

Please join us to celebrate what has been another wonderful year for Permaculture Central Coast as we ventured out into community gardens, private gardens and other exciting spaces, grew our membership, hosted an EPIC edible garden trail and generally got loads more permaculture happening on the ground.

Help us by registering for this event. It will make it easy to contact you if we need to cancel due to rain.

The Phyllis Bennett Reserve is directly out the front of the Regional Art Gallery at East Gosford. There's lawn and lovely shade trees as well as a few picnic tables for those that prefer them to your own rugs or folding chairs. We chose this venue for its multiple functions (of course we did!). The proximity of the Art Gallery means you'll be able to duck in and visit the beautiful Japanese inspired garden, or get a cup of real coffee, or use their nice clean toilets. There's also ART! We also loved the nearby Friendship Walk through natural wetlands and the close proximity of a great playground for kids. The reserve is also named after a wonderful local woman who was an artist, actor, director and passionate organic gardener and permaculture practitioner. Perfect!
