A+W x Pink Batts Factory Tour

We are excited to announce a new Factory Tour with Pink Batts on the 13th of November from 4:00-6:00pm!

Join us for our NZIA accredited Pink® Batts® Factory Tour (20CPD points) we will be running the Pink® Batts® H1 Design Solutions and Sustainability CPD Presentation (10CPD points). Seeing the process from raw materials, through to molten glass phase, creation of glass wool insulation and final packaging and distribution.

Tour duration: approx. 120 minutes for the tour, presentations and morning tea. (length is usually dependent on number of questions from tour participants)

Required dress for participants:

• Long pants and long sleeved top (covered to ankle and wrist). We can provide long sleeved PPE if needed but they are not the most comfortable, so we recommend participants come with their own long sleeves

• Closed toe shoes (steel caps if you have them, but not a requirement). No pointed heels, as the tour route includes grated walkways

• Comfortech® will provide all other site specific PPE for the tour

 Basic tour agenda:

• Meeting room talk: 30 min. Covers safety on site, an overview of Comfortech® as a business, history of Pink® Batts® in NZ, the production process in a little detail, our environmental and service promises etc.

• Factory walk: 30-45 min. Walking through the factory and seeing the process up close. Participants will see all aspects of the process from our raw materials, through the molten glass phase, creation of the glass wool, and final packaging and distribution

**For commercial reasons we do not allow photos during the plant tour, and we do not allow mobile phones to be carried in the plant. Secure storage for personal items will be provided for the duration of the tour.

• Morning tea presentation 30-45 min. Following the factory tour we will re convene to discuss the H1 update and enjoy some morning tea.
