A Walk Through the History of Albury’s CBD
Friday 5 September, 10.30am-11.30am
Join the Albury & District Historical Society for a stroll around part of Albury’s Central Business District. Learn more about our city’s rich history and heritage and some of the colourful and interesting characters who were part of the growth of Albury.
You will learn about how the CBD evolved from the frontier days of the mid 1800s to the city we have today.
The walk starts from outside Albury LibraryMuseum in Kiewa St and is entirely on level ground with no roads to cross.
Cost: $10 – this will include purchase of a 33-page booklet of historic CBD photos.
