A Winter Blessing: Community Celebration

As the year draws to a close, gather for a special winter celebration at The Hidden Gardens with an afternoon of music, creativity, warmth and seasonal wonder.

We’ll open with a spectacular fusion of Dhol and Pipes, bringing together Punjab’s double-headed Dhol with Scotland’s triple-droned Bagpipe in a vibrant celebration of shared cultures and traditions. The beautiful voices of Finnish choir Glasgow’n Laulu will add to the atmosphere as we come together to mark the turning of the seasons.

Enjoy seasonal edible treats harvested from the Gardens, get creative at our family-friendly Winter Wish Wand Workshop, and gather around the fire pit as its warmth and light brighten the winter dusk.

As twilight falls, we’ll come together for a winter parade through the Gardens, sharing blessings for this special place, the natural world and all who find connection, comfort and belonging here.

A moment to celebrate and look ahead with hope, welcoming the winter season and honouring the year we’ve shared.
