    Event description

A moving retreat. A walk. An adventure. Open to anyone who qualifies for AA membership by having "the desire to stop drinking."

From our base at the beautiful Wangat Lodge Wilderness Retreat, we'll venture into the UNESCO world heritage Barrington Tops NP for three days of trekking and two nights of camping.

Gondwana, a title that is synonymous with such words as wilderness, ancient and dinosaurs.

It was around about 180 million years ago that Australia began separating from Africa, South America, India and Antarctica and became its own continent. With this separation came the distribution of a certain type of environment that is now found in only very few places in the world. One of those places being the Barrington Tops

The adventure is designed to be challenging, we believe that the effort is worth the reward, but we welcome and will accommodate all abilities.

If you do not have appropriate gear it is possible to be outfitted. Not having the "right gear" should be no barrier, we absolutely have what you need. Please email the organiser
