A Wisdom of Age: Sydney Book Launch with Jacinta Parsons

When you close your eyes, how old do you feel? That is the question at the heart of Jacinta Parsons’ new book, A Wisdom of Age, and the spirit of this special Sydney launch hosted by The Funding Network (TFN).

Join us for an evening of conversation, connection and celebration with Jacinta, TFN’s long-time MC since 2019. We will gather in Paddington for a warm, thoughtful in-conversation Q&A between TFN CEO Kristen Lark and Jacinta Parsons, exploring how the wisdom of older women can reshape community life. The conversation will be followed by audience questions and a book signing. Refreshments will be provided.

This is a free event, registration is essential. We recommend pre-ordering your copy of A Wisdom of Age through the registration button for easy pick up on the night. A limited number of books will also be available to buy at the event.

A Wisdom of Age gathers conversations with women across Australia and asks us to rethink what it feels like to grow older. It moves beyond fear and fixes, and into agency, grit and the kind of hard-won wisdom that can light the way for all of us.

About Jacinta Parsons

Jacinta Parsons is a broadcaster, radio maker, writer and public speaker. She co-hosts ABC Melbourne’s The Friday Revue with Brian Nankervis and is the author of Unseen and A Question of Age. A passionate advocate for chronic illness awareness, she has been part of the TFN community as our MC since 2019.
