Featuring Xavier Vella an accessibility advocate and researcher exploring how accessible modern recruitment and hiring systems really are. Drawing on his own experience as a job seeker with a limb difference, he is examining job advertisements, recruitment and application platforms, online assessments and wider hiring workflows using both automated accessibility testing tools and manual reviews. His latest research is also expanding to include feedback from the accessibility community and a closer look at government recruitment processes, comparing stated accessibility commitments with the real candidate experience.

Tank Stream Labs is an accessible venue for people that use mobility aids.
There is an accessible toilet on the 6th floor.

- What are the acoustics like?
Builure have booked a meeting room for the A11y Allies to use. This gives us a quiet space to talk where we can hear each other clearly. There is not an echo, music, nor other background noise (such as the 'din' of a pub).
At the time of day we meet, the lobby may be narrow, yet it never feels crowded.
