Join us as we take a deep dive into the 12 Promises of recovery at a weekend of fellowship, meetings and guest speakers in the picturesque surrounds of Hobart Bush Cabins in southern Tasmania.

Program

Friday 20 November
4 pm -9 pm

Arrive Friday afternoon, register, get settled. After dinner, there's a welcome and meetings to finish by 9pm. Maybe spend some time around the campfire connecting with old and new friends.

Saturday 21 November
7 am - 10 pm

Meditation, a stroll through the bush or a leisurely breakfast before the day of meetings begin. Lunch is catered. Enjoy some free time before the barbecue dinner and then kick back for an evening of entertainment and fun.

Sunday 22 November
7 am - 2 pm

After meditation and breakfast, we have our final meetings. The sobriety countdown followed by lunch will round out a great weekend.

The meetings, dining and recreation are all on site and the weekend is fully catered (including breakfast). Scroll to the bottom of the page for full program details.

Accommodation

Stay on site or make your own arrangements. If you choose to add accommodation to your registration, there's a range of options to choose from.

Self-contained Cabins

There are seven self-contained cabins on site. Each cabin has a kitchen/dining area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom contains a queen bed. The second bedroom contains four bunks. Linen is supplied. 

Unless you book an entire cabin, there may be people of a different gender in the other room of your cabin.

Dormitory cabins 

Free-standing dormitories accommodate up to 10 people in bunks. Bedding is not provided so you will need to BYO. Each dormitory has an ensuite toilet and washbasin. Showers are available in a separate shower block. Dormitories will be designated male or female and allocated on that basis. If this does not work for you, consider the other accommodation options available or email us at hobartroundup@gmail.com and we will assist as far as we are able. 

Accessible dormitory

A wheelchair accessible dormitory with full ensuite bathroom is available at no additional cost. This dormitory is located close to the dining and meeting rooms and has level access to these common areas. To book this accommodation, select dormitory accommodation and you will be provided with the option of an accessible dormitory.

Two nights accommodation (Friday and Saturday night) is charged at cost on top of your registration.

Seventh Tradition donations

Registrations for this event are priced below cost to make it possible for as many people as possible to attend this event. When you register, there is an option to make a seventh tradition donation. This will help keep next year's event affordable.

Are there service opportunities?

Yes! We are looking for people to volunteer to do service. When you register, there is more information about service opportunities, Let us know all the types of service you are willing to do and you we will assign you one of those tasks on the weekend.

Is there a concession rate?

Yes. There is a $20 discount on registration available if you are a Tasmanian resident who is unemployed, receive an age or disability support pension, or are eligible for a Health Care Card. To access the concession, use the discount code CONC and send supporting evidence to hobartroundup@gmail.com (eg. a photo of your health care card). This information will be used only for the purpose for which it is supplied and then deleted. 

Can I pay my registration in instalments?

To receive your ticket immediately, you will need to pay in a single payment through the Humanitix checkout. However, we can arrange for an invoice to be issued which reserves a spot for you and gives you 60 days to pay. 

This option is available for single bookings. Before registering, email hobartroundup@gmail.com and ask for a special invoice booking link.

Refunds

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. Note that your booking fee will not be refunded.
