With the Federal Budget being handed down on 12 May 2026, small business owners and families across Australia are asking the same question: How does this actually affect me?

As the first budget following the 2025 reelection, the 2026/27 roadmap introduces significant shifts in productivity packages, tax reform, and cost-of-living measures. This briefing is designed to cut through the political noise and deliver a practical summary of the key changes, including:

Small Business Impact: New incentives, tax compliance updates, and shifts in regulatory priorities.
Household & Wealth: A breakdown of personal tax cuts, cost-of-living relief, and interest rate implications.
Asset & Cash Flow: Strategies to maintain liquidity and protect your assets under the new fiscal settings.
