AADANT Post Conference Workshop Opportunity
Event description
Following the AADANT Conference 2025, we are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for further professional development with two post-conference workshops hosted by Alex Lee and Joe Coyte from The Glen on Thursday 15 May. These 90-minute workshops are designed to provide valuable insights into relationship building, data-driven practice, and service delivery improvement.
Workshop 1: ‘We Can’t Work in Isolation’ – Stakeholders and Relationship Building
Time: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Client-centred drug and alcohol treatment focuses on the person, rather than just the substance use. This workshop will explore how to support clients through holistic treatment and empower them to understand the ecosystem of services available to address their identified issues and concerns. Participants will learn practical tips and strategies for building high-quality relationships that enhance service delivery and better support clients.
Workshop 2: “How Can Data Help Our Work” – Data and Outcomes Measurement
Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
As a treatment sector, it is crucial to embrace data and find effective ways to use it to:
- Identify client needs
- Analyse data to review and improve practices and approaches
- Help achieve organisational goals and objectives
This workshop will demonstrate how data collection can serve as a therapeutic tool and how to develop a data strategy tailored for small to medium-sized NGOs. Participants will gain insights into leveraging data to improve service delivery and support evidence-based decision-making.
Networking
Time: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
There will be 1 hour of networking after the workshops with lunch provided.
