AAHMS Mentorship Workshop 2026

The Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences is pleased to invite you to our 2026 Mentorship Workshop in Sydney, NSW.

This annual event is a highlight of the Academy’s Mentorship Program. Attendance is limited to mentees, mentors, Fellows, and invited guests.

The 2026 Mentorship Workshop will focus on strengthening researchers’ capacity to engage with policy and decision-makers. Participants will hear from speakers with firsthand experience in policymaking, explore real-world pathways for influencing policy, and gain practical insights into what effective engagement looks like. Through interactive and hands-on activities, the workshop will build participants’ skills and confidence in clearly and persuasively communicating their research to policymakers.

This fully catered workshop is a fantastic opportunity to network with your peers, and is followed by an informal drinks reception. Spaces are limited so we encourage you to register early.
