Presenting Un-finished Ideas: An Interactive Workshop
Event description
The Poststructural Theory SIG and Global Contexts in Education SIG warmly invite you to attend our free hybrid workshop, Presenting Un-finished Ideas. Do you have any ideas that seem incomplete, in-between, or unstructured? Then join our workshop (in person or online), where we will discuss and work on how to embrace your ideas as they are, rather than feeling the need to complete them.
- This workshop is for HDR students and early career researchers who have unfinished ideas and thoughts they wish to share/present.
- The focus will be on sharing these unfinished ideas at the 2025 AARE Conference but can be relevant to other contexts.
- No prior knowledge is required — we want to cultivate a space where people can explore their unfinished ideas.
The workshop will consist of small group discussions and hands-on activities.
Date: Thursday, May 22nd, 2025
Time: 4-6pm AEST
Where:
- Australian Catholic University (Melbourne campus) — 115 Victoria Parade, St Teresa of Kolkata Building, Level 4 (for in-person participants)
