Aaron Wylder: Songs for a Winter's Night
Description
Blending the warmth of Caribbean roots with the rugged spirit of Canada's West Coast, Aaron Wylder brings his distinctive mix of indie folk, alt-country, and folk rock to Gallery @ Artech on December 1 for an intimate evening of music and storytelling.
Born in the Caribbean, Aaron grew up surrounded by the easy rhythms and uncomplicated pleasures of island life before moving to Victoria, British Columbia, at the age of 14. Those two worlds—sun-soaked island living and the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest—have helped shape a sound that feels both grounded and adventurous, weaving heartfelt songwriting with the raw energy of folk rock and the earthy textures of alt-country.
Since releasing his debut studio album, Brand New TV, Wylder has taken his music across Canada, connecting with audiences through songs that reflect his diverse influences and down-to-earth approach to making music.
For this special Vancouver performance, Aaron will be joined by an electric guitarist, adding another layer of energy and atmosphere to his folk-inspired sound. Expect an engaging evening of memorable melodies, warm storytelling, and roots-driven music in the intimate, welcoming setting of Gallery @ Artech.
Doors open at 7:30 pm. Show starts at 8:00 pm sharp. Light refreshments will be available, and everyone is encouraged to bring something to enjoy or share.
