🌬 Theme: Breathwork in Trauma Recovery Settings

Breathing together is a powerful practice—one that nurtures both personal well-being and professional growth. These Community Breathe sessions are a space to reconnect, deepen our practice, and strengthen the bonds within the ABA community.

This upcoming session will be facilitated by Gilad Shavit:

I am a dedicated breathwork and mindfulness trainer, working primarily in clinical settings with a trauma-informed approach. One of my passions is integrating breathwork with mindfulness—and, outside of the hospital, with Jewish mysticism.
My approach is both practical and deeply rooted in compassion, creating a safe and transformative space for participants to explore, heal, and move toward wholeness. 😊

The session will include:
Grounding - HRV breath
Check in circle
A short talk about the breath as trauma recovery tool
Breathwork session
Closing circle

Why join?
✨ Experience the power of community breathwork
✨ Deepen your practice and self-care
✨ Connect with fellow ABA members
✨ Expand your understanding of breathwork in trauma recovery

As in this technique the Breather (participant) can choose how "deep" they would like to go, it fits almost everyone who wishes to explore their inner and spiritual world and is willing to step out of their comfort zone. This setting does NOT fit people with epilepsy, asthma, pregnant women or people who should avoid cardio activity. If you have one of the above please discuss with us before registering.

Looking forward to breathing together,
Gilad Shavit
On behalf of the ABA Committee
