In this drawing workshop, Ness will share her abalone-drawing secrets for the first time. She developed this deceptively easy, mindful and addictive technique over the last few years, and has designed a workshop so that even beginners can be supported to make stunning works. You will walk away from this workshop with several of your own artworks, and a range of artistic tricks that can give hours of meditative creative play
Ness Mercieca is a local artist and art educator, who you may know as the paint and sip teacher, or as one of the Art in the Garage mentors, or you may have shared a dance floor with her. Her visual arts practice centres around mapping and local landscape textures, and she writes and illustrates fantasy books part-time. You can contact Ness about taking a bespoke Sketch Tour with your loved ones (or without them) in the area, in which you can learn her tricks for fast and lightweight travel-art.
