Join us for an impactful team volunteering experience at FareShare! Help prepare and pack nutritious meals that are distributed free to people in need across Australia.

Shift Options

Meal Preparation & Production Shifts

• Monday to Friday:

  • Morning: 9:00am – 12:30pm

  • Afternoon: 1:15pm – 5:00pm

Group Size

8–20 volunteers per group, please note if you are a smaller team, you maybe be in a session with another group (Smaller or larger groups may be accommodated—please email corporatevolunteering@secondbite.org with your enquiry.)

What to Expect

📍 Location: 1–7 South Audley Street, Abbotsford
Your team will receive a warm welcome, a safety briefing, and guidance from our experienced chefs. You'll get hands-on with:

• Preparing, chopping and packing meals at scale

• Knowing every meal you make goes to someone in need

• Daytime shifts include a catered for tea break. We aim to make your experience safe, fun, and rewarding!
  

Financial Contribution

To help cover the costs of running these sessions, we require a financial contribution:

• Meal Production Shifts: Financial contribution per group of 8-10 volunteers $1,650 plus GST 
  Financial contribution per group of 11-20 volunteers $3,300 plus GST

• Invoices are issued upon confirmation. Payment is required to secure your session

Changing or Cancelling Your Shift

We know plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to help:

• If it’s more than 30 days before your shift, you’ll get a full refund.

• If it’s 14–30 days out, we’ll refund 50%.

• If it’s less than 14 days, we’re unable to offer a refund or reschedule, as we’ve already started preparing for your session.
