We invite you to join ABC Friends NSW & ACT for our 2026 Spring Dinner which will celebrate the winners of the ABC Friends 2026 Excellence Awards and the 50th anniversary of ABC Friends.

The ABC Friends 2026 Excellence Awards will be presented personally at the event to:

Excellence in broadcasting award for an outstanding individual from the ABC: David Marr
Excellence in broadcasting award for an ABC program, series or documentary: The Piano

We will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of ABC Friends with the launch of the ABC Friends 50 Year Anniversary Digital Historical Timeline. ABC Friends historian, Dr Jennifer Bowen will give a brief keynote address.

It should be a very interesting, informative and entertaining event.
