9am to 5pm: ABCs Scavenger Hunt at our bookstore, stop by throughout the day.

11:30am: Drag Queen Storytime with Alice Glamoure at the Pearl Street Garage. Alice will read passages from this book, along with other Queer picture books and board books.

1:00pm: Head back to the bookstore to join the author of ABCs of Queer History, Dr. Seema Yasmin, in-conversation with Maria Magallanes (Lecturer of Elem. Ed. and Literacy-School of Education at Metropolitan State University of Denver). Tie-dyeing fun to follow the talk! Please RSVP for this event.

Seema Yasmin is a medical doctor, author, and Emmy award-winning journalist. Lucy Kirk is a freelance illustrator and ceramist based in Bristol, UK. Since graduating from Brighton University in 2012, she has worked with a wide range of different clients and varied projects. These include editorial illustrations, book illustrations, print and pattern designs, murals, fashion, and ceramic designs. Her work is playful and refreshing with an edgy humor.
