A wonderful opportunity to get up close and learn about Aboriginal artefacts, tools and native bush tucker plants from renown Aboriginal cultural educator, David Booth.

Touch, feel and smell as you learn about native bush tucker and medicinal plants, and how traditional Aboriginal artefacts were made and used to gather and hunt.

Adelaide Hills based David Booth and the Booth family are the founders of 'Imbala', an organisation which provides cultural awareness workshops and performances as a way to offer people a better understanding of Aboriginal culture and diversity.

David Booth acknowledges that the land he lives and work on is the lands of the Kaurna and Peramangk peoples. He pays his respects to the traditional owners of country as a representative for culture and a holder of Aboriginal knowledge. He is a proud Warumungu (NT) and Yuggera (Qld) man.

Mylor Citizens Friendship Club acknowledges that the Mylor Hall is situated on the lands of the Kaurna people. We also acknowledge and pay respects to the Peramangk people as close neighbours and caretakers of country.

Maximum of 40 participants. Tickets $20 with afternoon tea included.
