Join Koori Kinnections to learn about Aboriginal Culture in and around The Coal Loader
This workshop and tour is family-friendly and suitable for all abilities, adults and children alike. All children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.Â
The program will include 3 components:
• a 'hands-on' session with traditional Aboriginal tools, weapons and resources.
• visit an Aboriginal rock engraving site (heritage)
• visit the Bush Tucker garden (learn about traditional and contemporary uses of native plants)
Tours leave from outside The Coal Loader, 2 Balls Head Drive. Look for the tour sign.
All physical abilities are welcome as the site is fully accessible.
Please do not attend if you are suffering any COVID-19 related symptoms.
Booking essential – limited to 25 places for each group only! We cannot take drop-ins on the day and all participants must be registered with their own name and contact details.
Cost: $0 to take part however ONLY book if you can make it.
What to bring:
BYO keep cup and reusable water bottle etc. Close-toed shoes. Sun protection.
In the case of wet weather, indoor activities may replace the outdoor tour.
