Event description

This is an intimate workshop, and we have capped the numbers lower than our previous workshops. 10 adults and 10 children will be the maximum.

This workshop will discuss the traditional methods used by our Elders to remove quills from echidnas that were used for traditional jewellery making, weaving and sewing, traditional tool making using different techniques and weaving.

Traditional Aboriginal foods will be served, and workshop ticket prices include lunch.

Please note: all persons attending will participate in our communal lunch as this key to cultural norms; so if you are attending with your child but not participating in the workshop please purchase a lunch ticket.

Past participants have found our workshops to be welcoming, fun, connecting and uplifitng.

One participant said "The last two days have been so nice. ... Took in so much more than I thought! .... Thank you guys for sharing culture, especially with the next generation. So important and delivered in a beautiful way."

Another participant commented " Feel so lucky to be welcomed into this pace and included in being able to learn. (To learn) this is the norm that it's part of lived experience of living in Lutrawita"

**Address will be forwarded to booked participants directly**
