The Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Partnership Forum (the Forum) is a strategic collaboration between the Aboriginal Community-controlled health sector, the mainstream health sector and the Victorian Department of Health. The Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) is proud to foster this collaboration between our 32 Member organisations and our health partners in government and in the sector.

Through building strong and sincere relationships, the Forum works to determine and action Aboriginal health sector priorities and advance health strategies to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Victoria.

The first Forum for 2022 will be held in Naarm (Melbourne) this April. Please register for this event by Monday 4 April. We will be in touch with further details on the agenda as the Forum approaches.

At this two-day Forum, we're looking forward to reconnecting and reflecting on the tremendous work that has been done to protect and support Community over this past year. This will also be an opportunity for discussion around health system reforms and key policy priorities; and to share and learn from the experiences of Aboriginal Community-controlled health organisations across Victoria.

For anyone who cannot travel to attend in-person, we will have video conferencing set up for you to join the meeting virtually. Please specify whether you'll be attending in-person or online when filling out the registration form.

COVID SAFETY
The safety and wellbeing of our guests is our priority. All guests will be required to check in upon arrival and practice social distancing where possible. If you’re feeling unwell, remember to stay at home and get tested. We recommend taking a Rapid Antigen Test prior to attending this event.
