This is a FREE, all ages event.
Family Day at the Farm brings our diverse communities together to celebrate the significant contribution made by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to our community, our families, our history and our nation. This year’s NAIDOC theme is "Blak, Loud and Proud," capturing the unapologetic celebration of Indigenous identity and invites all Australians to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue, fostering a society where the wisdom and contributions of Indigenous peoples are fully valued and respected.
We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which this event takes place, the Wurundjeri-Woiwurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and future, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and the hopes of Aboriginal Australia. We acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples continue to live in spiritual and sacred relationships with this Country on lands that have never been ceded. It always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
