The Australian Ballet School: In Studio

In Studio offers a unique opportunity to step inside The Australian Ballet School and observe the next generation of dancers in training. 

Guests will witness live classes and rehearsals from designated observation areas, gaining insight into the exceptional talent of our students, the expertise of our faculty, and the artistic and technical standards that define pre-professional ballet training.  

Throughout the day, guests will see how students are challenged, supported and inspired as they develop the skills required for careers in dance. Take time between sessions to visit The Ballet Society Victoria's Spring Stall, featuring homemade goods and ballet merchandise available for purchase. Our onsite Dancers Deli will be open, with coffee, sandwiches and other light refreshments available to purchase.

Whether you are an aspiring student, parent, carer or ballet enthusiast, In Studio provides a behind-the-scenes look at the learning environment that has shaped generations of professional dancers. Guests will also experience the culture of respect, creativity and connection that defines life at The Australian Ballet School and is evident in every studio.
