Abstract Assembly Workshop
Explore colour, pattern and shape by creating a three-dimensional paper sculpture, inspired by Morag Myerscough’s joyful BEACON installation. Be immersed inside BEACON while folding, gluing and shaping your very own artwork assemblage. All ages welcome. Stay for a little or a long while and enjoying crafting by the lake.

ARTIST BIO
Michelle Le Plastrier is a Gold Coast based multidisciplinary artist with a focus on hand-built
ceramics, who explores identity, socio-political, and environmental issues all in her signature candy coloured style.
Michelle has been working with Morag Myerscough as part of the local artist team painting the massive large-scale installation BEACON. Michelle has created this workshop inspired by Morag’s artwork and grounded in her own practice which explores colour, shape and environment.
