Taking a fast and loose approach to painting, this is a great course for those wanting to pursue a more intuitive direction in their painting practice. We will look at ways we can abstract from the landscape using visual material gathered from either photos, sketches or studies. By the end of this course, you will have learnt how a painting can evolve and change and doesn’t have to be pre-planned. You will learn how through the process of abstraction we can create paintings that are evocative and suggestive of landscape without being overly descriptive.
