    Event description

    For the Abstraction exhibition, artists were invited to submit artworks in their own media and style which included recognisable forms, as well as more expressive styles and pure abstraction. Entrant were also inspired by art
    movements such as Fauvism, Dadaism or Cubism. For this exhibition the gallery encouraged all artists to show us their interpretation of an Abstract or Abstracted Artwork

    On Friday, 5th of April at 7pm, the Abstraction Opening and Awards Night will be held at Petrie Terrace Gallery. Join us as we announce the winners of the exhibition! Drinks are available for purchase and nibbles will be provided.

    Ticket prices:

    • RQAS Brisbane Branch Members tickets: $5
    • Non-Members tickets: $15

    Abstraction will be on show from Thursday, 28th of March to Sunday, 21st April, 2024. We look forward to seeing you in the gallery.
