ACAN Supplier Webinar: Labour related services

Construction, cleaning, security, food/hospitality services, laundry, waste management and textile/garment finishing (e.g. embroidery) industries rely on migrant workers and sub-contracting arrangements to provide services. Migrant workers, new arrivals, unlawful workers and temporary visa holders are vulnerable to abuse. This webinar will outline best practice in labour hire services including through: monitoring and audits, fair recruitment and worker engagement. By implementing best practices, suppliers to ACAN entities can demonstrate actions to prevent modern slavery on Catholic sites and in supply chains.
