ACA Qld 2024 National Conference: See the Wonders of Early Education

Join us at The Star Gold Coast on the weekend of 14-16 June 2024.

The 2024 conference program includes:
  • Approved Providers panel discussion and lunch on Friday 14 June 2024 (see important notes below)

  • Welcome Event held on the evening of Friday 14 June 2024

  • Two-day conference held on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June 2024 (see important notes below)

  • Gala Dinner held on the evening of Saturday 15 June 2024.  Under the Sea theme.

  • Trade exhibition hall on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June 2024

  • Back to Basics workshops for new Educators on Saturday 15 June 2024 (see important notes below)

Important Notes prior to registration
  • Members: to receive the member rate, click on Access hidden tickets: enter your member code in the box, including any leading zeros.
  • Approved Providers panel and lunch:  This event is strictly for APs, Owners and upper level Management only. Attendance is not included in conference registration packages. MAX two attendees per organisation/group.
  • Back to Basics workshops.  Designed for Educators with experience of 2 years or less. Saturday morning attendance to Back to Basics sessions only. No other conference attendance included.
  • Two-day packages include the cost of attending Welcome Event and Gala Dinner.  If you are NOT attending Gala Dinner, please choose the appropriate package. There is no change to the package cost if you choose not to attend the social functions.
  • If you select Two-day packages including Gala Dinner attendance, you will be required to enter the attendee details against each option (day registration plus gala dinner).
  • Large groups can complete a csv template to import attendee details.  Please contact our office if you have 10 or more attendees.
  • By registering for the Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland (ACA Qld) Conference, delegates and attendees agree to abide by all terms and conditions. By registering, you are committing to the purchase and payment of registration to the event.


Accommodation blocks have been secured at special rates for our attendees at The Star Gold Coast, Sofitel Broadbeach and Dorsett hotels. You can access full details and accommodation booking forms here.  Remember to return your booking forms as soon as you can, as rooms sell out fast.

Donate to Walk With Us
Once again, ACA Qld are giving you a challenge - to clean out your bathroom drawers of all of those unused single-use toiletries picked up from hotels and airlines and bring them along to the conference to donate to the Walk With Us charity. We invite you all to extend the invitation to your families!

Refund policy

All cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing via email to qld@childcarealliance.org.au. If you have not received an acknowledgement within two business days, please contact the ACA Qld Conference Team on 07 3808 2366. All registration cancellation requests received in writing before 15 May 2024 will be accepted, and registration fees refunded less a 20% administration fee. Additional social event tickets will be refunded in full if cancelled before 31 May 2024. Regrettably, no refunds can be given after the above dates. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without penalty. All cancellations of accommodation bookings are subject to the applicable venue’s terms and conditions, which are outlined on the booking form.
