ACCC Gala Dinner - Celebration of Croatian Independence Day (Dan neovisnosti)

We are very pleased to invite you to our main business networking and social event of the year.
On 8 October 1991 Croatian Parliament unanimously reached a Decision on dissolution of all state and legal ties with other republics and provinces of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
Croatian Independence was declared in May 1991 after a referendum, then by the Parliament on June 25, but a three-month moratorium was imposed as a result of the Brijuni Agreement, and on October 8 the ties with SFR Yugoslavia were formally severed.
Australian Croatian Chamber of Commerce NSW would like to use the opportunity of this notable day in Croatian history to present our activities in Australia, with a viewpoint of further developing and strengthening the trade and business relations between Croatia and Australia.
