Join us at The Innovation Factory for an evening exploring how venture capital is helping build the next generation of high-growth technology companies in South Australia.

We're hosting a fireside conversation with the founders of Eastend Ventures, one of Adelaide's newest venture capital firms, to discuss what it takes to raise a fund, back ambitious founders, and build a thriving startup ecosystem.

In just over two years, Eastend Ventures has raised $26 million, deployed $7.7 million across seven startups, and recently secured a landmark $5 million investment from Funds SA - the first time a debut Australian venture capital fund has received backing through a superannuation mandate.

The conversation will explore:

The journey of building Eastend Ventures from the ground up
Raising a $26 million venture capital fund
The story behind the $5 million Funds SA investment and seven months of due diligence
How venture capital firms evaluate startup investments
What Eastend Ventures looks for in founders and high-growth companies
Building globally competitive startups from South Australia
The future of Adelaide's startup and innovation ecosystem

Following the fireside session, stay for networking with founders, investors, entrepreneurs, and members of Adelaide's innovation community.
