Overcoming common roadblocks and creating business value for manufacturing SMEs

With traditional manufacturing value chains being disrupted and customer expectations constantly shifting, more businesses are exploring Industry 4.0 technologies and looking for smart, cost-effective ways to integrate these within their organisation. Whilst COVID-19 has seen many businesses accelerate their digital thinking , the gap between this initial exploration and subsequent adoption and investment is still evident.

Hosted by UTS, in collaboration with the Innovative Manufacturing CRC (IMCRC) this seminar is designed for leaders of SME manufacturing businesses to explore how they can adopt and implement Industry 4.0 technologies and principles across their organisation to create business value.

Learn how you can work with UTS, through its unique customised program, SME@UTS, utilising IMCRC’s futuremap® platform, to gain exclusive access to innovation expertise, research capabilities and world class technology facilities that will allow you to underpin your business growth.

Meet the co-founder of Young Henrys Brewery and be inspired by their story, of how they used climate change innovation and UTS research collaboration to transform their business model to lead the way in sustainability.

Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to take a tour of UTS Tech Lab, a collaborative research facility that co-locates large scale engineering infrastructure with laboratories dedicated to robotics, Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing.
