Accessible forms for developers - September 2024

Learn how to build building accessible forms including labels, legends, instructions, required fields and errors. This course is great for front-end or full-stack developers.

Learning outcomes

In this course, you will learn about:

the importance of the accessibility tree and accessible names
accessible form markup, including labels, required fields, and notifications
how to use ARIA the right way

Knowledge level

Basic knowledge of HTML is required.
No prior accessibility knowledge is needed.

Technology requirements

We use CodePen for some activities. You don’t need an account, but it will allow you to fork and save examples.

Individual registration: AUD $50+ GST
Group registration (4 or more): AUD $40+ GST
