About the course
The Accidental Counsellor course builds practical communication skills for people who find themselves supporting others through difficult conversations - often unexpectedly and without formal training.
Whether someone is experiencing stress, relationship challenges, emotional distress, or feeling overwhelmed, this course helps participants respond calmly, respectfully, and appropriately, while maintaining clear personal and professional boundaries.
The focus is on listening well, responding with confidence, and knowing what helps - and what doesn’t - in everyday support conversations.
