A discussion with Gary from Services Australia about “Accommodation options in retirement”, gives you a general overview of your option whatever your situation, be they living in your own home, using the equity to create extra cash flow, selling your house and downsizing, super contributions, renting, retirement/lifestyle villages and a little on the current aged care fee structure.
Peta from MASC will discuss the upcoming changes in aged care legislation in November 2025, which seek to improve how services are delivered to older people in their homes, in the community, and in approved residential aged care homes.
