ACE for Coursework Success: Academic Expectations

ACE for Coursework Success is free to all Adelaide University students by coursework seeking to practise academic skills and strategies to help improve their comprehension and succeed in assignments.

This first workshop focuses on academic expectations. We will cover:

• your responsibilities as a student

• what you can expect from Adelaide University

• the features and conventions of academic writing

• course and subject expectations

• assignment types and assessment criteria

• academic support services at Adelaide University.

• social opportunities to practise speaking in English

Every workshop includes interactive tasks.
