ACE for Coursework Success is free to all Adelaide University students by coursework seeking to practise academic skills and strategies to help improve their comprehension and succeed in assignments.

This workshop focuses on skills for selecting and synthesising information for academic writing assignments.

It includes

defining synthesising and why it is important
strategies for selecting and organising information for synthesis
steps to synthesising information from many sources on the same topic
language for comparing, contrasting and integrating ideas and perspectives from multiple sources
how to reference synthesised information in-text: author prominent and information prominent citations
practice synthesising information from multiple sources
