    Following on from the success of our inaugural Junior School conference held in Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park, we are pleased to announce this year's event ‘Racial Inclusion for Primary Years: Exploring Best Practices from Stakeholder Perspectives.

    Join us on Thursday, June 27th for an insightful conference exploring effective strategies for racial inclusion from diverse stakeholder perspectives. This event hosted by ACEN (African Caribbean Educational Network) seeks to equip educators with practical tools to foster truly inclusive learning environments in the junior school sector. 

    Key Highlights:

    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of how to implement racially inclusive curriculum practices tailored for primary years
    • Hear directly from racially-minoritised students on the profound impact of inclusion within and beyond the classroom
    • Explore diverse viewpoints from racially-minoritised parents, teachers, governors, and students themselves on successful inclusion initiatives 
    • Listen to how non-racially minoritized students have benefited from racial inclusion initiatives.
    • Learn from existing case studies presented by EDI-progressive institutions including Dulwich College, Bird in Bush Primary, and Northwood College for Girls
    • Receive actionable strategies from ACEN to champion inclusion within your school setting

    This event aims to support schools to enact racial equity in education. As such, the content will be tailored to those tasked with EDI responsibilities, Safeguarding Leads, PSHE teachers, Heads, SLTs and Governors.
