The Paris Agreement means the world is trying to limit the impacts of global climate change to between 1.5 to 2.0 degrees C in the next 80 years. How are we going to do that?

In this session we will explore this using En-ROADS, a global climate simulator that allows users to explore the impact of roughly 30 policies. Things like electrifying transport, pricing carbon, incentivising or disincentivising different types of energy generation, and improving agricultural practices.

This is a public and interactive workshop session where participants will work together to build a scenario made up of policies to meet the 1.5 to 2.0 degrees C target. Come along and test whether the actions you want or you see promoted will be effective?!

This is a Zoom meeting and links to interact with the discussion will be posted in the chat. Please join this session from a device where you have access to a browser to access the links that are shared.

This event is being run for the Auckland Climate Festival 2022.
