ACO Training - Responding to Aggression On-Scene
Event description
The Connecticut Animal Control Officer's Association is proud to be partnered with Home Away From Home Kennels & Training and Team Animal Rescue Inc. and present the first of a series of continuing education courses for municipal animal control officers and staff. This training will focus on identifying and safely handling aggressive dogs on-scene. The afternoon will be broken up into a seminar followed by working groups where the day's lessons will be practiced in a controlled environment. The event is free to any municipal animal control officer or staff member. Class counts towards continuing education requirements for municipal animal control officers in Connecticut - if you serve in another state, you are encouraged to reach out to us before the event as we may be able to arrange credit in your state as well.
