Acopia

We are excited to be hosting Acopia, one of the most idiosyncratic and exciting groups to emerge from this country in the past few years for a gorgeous Sunday affair as part of their "australian" tour!

Acopia consists of Liluzu, Morgan Wright and Purient, three accomplished dance producers in their own right who came together to explore softer, ethereal realms outside of the club space during the uniquely existential environment that was COVID-era Naarm. Their sound is a darkly seductive blend of dream pop, post-punk and downtempo, and the group captures the unique nature of modern existence and relationship. This all of which culminates in a sound that has a sense of warmth within it’s inherent coldness, like the glow of neon light across a frozen city. Their most recent self-titled sophomore project was one of the strongest Australian musical offerings of last year, and it is our absolute pleasure to have them back after a gorgeous courtyard set almost two years ago.

Joining them will be their favourite Magandjin artist, and master of post-modern emotive dream pop Fatshaudi, alongside the maestro that is Quincy Raw, who will be providing a perfect mood and atmosphere both before and after our two headliners. This is a time for catharsis, reflection, and a moment to witness the sunset soundtracked by some of the finest. Allow yourself to feel, breathe, and let the sound wash over you.
