Event description
REGISTRATION CLOSED FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 @ 10PM!!!
Join together with community to build the equipment we'll use to harvest and store acorns from the Second Annual Acorn Harvest!
Celebrate Traditional Ecological Knowledge and Indigenous STEM by constructing purpose-built, specialized equipment that will help us achieve our mission to reopen Indigenous Foodways.
This clean and sober event is open to all!
Even though this event is Free, you can Pay What You Want when you register. Including $0.00
However, if you choose more than zero: your donations go to covering equipment and rental fees, supporting the Acorn Harvest, and helping us provide the Community Care our Volunteers (like you) deserve! ... Things like snacks, drinks, extra gloves, tools, and more!
Together we can decolonize ourselves, and provide a tangible benefit to the Bay Area Indigenous Community through the Acorn Harvest and production of Acorn Flour (at scale) for the first time in 300 years!
REGISTRATION CLOSED FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 @ 10PM!!!
