Event description

The highly anticipated Acoustic Guitar Spectacular is back in 2024 with three internationally recognised acoustic guitarists ready to captivate audiences for their regional Queensland tour.

This series of very special concerts is hosted by critically acclaimed Brisbane guitarist Michael Fix. Known for his stunning fingerstyle guitar playing and captivating compositions, Fix has released numerous albums, won multiple awards, (including three CMAA Golden Guitar Awards), and has toured extensively throughout Australia and the world.

Joining Michael in 2024 are fellow-Queenslanders Marcus Church and Brendan Radford.

Marcus Church
is an outstanding acoustic guitarist quickly making a name for himself in the Australian bluegrass scene. Marcus regularly performs in the Haystack Mountain Hermits, the Shining Hour, and the Inadequates.

Brendan Radford
is a gifted vocalist/guitarist who has performed and recorded with many leading Australian and international artists. He was part of Lee Kernaghan’s touring band for over ten years and has also been in the Country Music Awards of Australia house band for the past eleven years.

Audiences and guitar aficionados are in for a treat with stories, songs, and humour, (as well as fretboard fireworks!) from this highly entertaining trio. Performing solo and ensemble pieces, these diverse guitarists present a rare opportunity to see a wealth of amazing musical talent on the one stage.
