Acquisition Fund | Mosman Art Gallery

The Mosman Art Gallery Acquisition Fund was launched in 2022, marking the 10th anniversary of The Balnaves Gift, and was established to continue the inspiring legacy of the late Neil Balnaves AO.

Since the success of our first acquisitions by Imants Tillers, Thea Anamara Perkins, Arthur Streeton and Emily Galicek, we continue to welcome donations to the Acquisition Fund. Every contribution helps support the acquisition of significant historic and contemporary artworks, as well as the commissioning of new work, ensuring the continued growth of the Mosman Art Collection.

The Mosman Art Collection brings together works that reflect the history of the local area alongside important contemporary Australian art. Donations to the Acquisition Fund enable the Gallery to acquire significant artworks, commission new work and ensure the collection continues to grow while remaining accessible to the public.
