    Event description

2021 Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Symposium

Be inspired and learn from each other at the Australian Cardiovascular
Health and Rehabilitation Association—Queensland (ACRA-Qld) upcoming Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Symposium,
“Better Together”, to be held at the Queensland University of Technology,
Kelvin Grove, on Friday November 5th.

This hybrid in-person and online educational event will feature a mixture of invited speakers, clinical and research topics, and networking opportunities. The Symposium will provide a space to showcase local approaches to cardiac rehabilitation; share inspiring patient experiences in cardiovascular care; and reveal the latest research and initiatives to advance of Cardiac Rehabilitation in Queensland.

We have tailored the program to cover a range of topics from which we can learn from each other to be “better together” and which will interest a broad cross-section of attendees.

Come join us for what will be a fantastic opportunity to shine a spotlight on the great work being done in Queensland and finally catch up face to face again. Morning tea and lunch breaks are included for in person attendees and will enable networking with colleagues old and new. An option to attend all sessions virtually via Zoom is also available for delegates.

Discounts available for ACRA members on all ticket types. Special Offer: Join ACRA as part of registering for this event and get the regular $40 joining fee waived.

There is also an option to join an informal post event catch-up networking drinks nearby.

CPD Points: This educational event represents 3 hours of training
in Continuing Professional Development under the Australian health
practitioners regulation agency guidelines. As such it would be
the equivalent of 3 CPD points.
