    2024 ACRA-QLD Workshop - Free for members!

"Navigating the secondary prevention research space"

Are you a clinician interested in research or quality improvement but don't know where to start? Do you have lots of data or ideas but need help turning them into something meaningful? Are you an academic looking to make clinical collaborations for research projects?

Then, come join the Australian Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Association—Queensland (ACRA-Qld) as we host an upcoming
collaborative seminar and workshop at Griffith University Logan on Friday 24th May 2024. We'll work together in small groups to help you understand your clinical data, come up with a research problem or idea, plan quality improvement projects and work up an elevator pitch! Hear tips on conducting research, mentorship, and funding schemes, and take part in facilitated networking between clinicians and academics. You will even get to pitch your ideas to an expert panel and get feedback.

Groups of participants who workshop an idea from the day and submit it to ACRA-Qld via the approved project plan have the opportunity to be awarded up to $1000 of research support funding (conditions apply).

Morning tea and lunch are included for all attendees.

Registration is free for ACRA members. Not a member? Special Offer: Join ACRA as part of registering for this event and get the regular $40 joining fee waived.
